Marsham House project comprises of the new build construction of a 50-unit private-residential scheme consisting of one and two-bedroom high quality apartments built within a 7-storey apartment block.
The building was built on secant piled concrete on ground bearing piled foundations to create the formation a single storey basement car park with a 7-storey reinforced concrete frame and then the cladding of the externals of the building clad mainly in a brick facade. The works are completed with all external works, drainage, incoming services and soft landscaping. The building fit out is in keeping with the clients very high-quality superior standards and expectations.
To the south of our very compact site sits the very busy direct railway route into London Paddington. To the west of the site in Station Rd there is a municipal car park and towards the north also in Station Rd there was another ongoing development opposite our Marsham house project. With established private residential housing on Marsham lane side to the east of the site we worked extremely well and in collaboration with the local Considerate Contractors Scheme, Network Rail/Chiltern Railways, the local authority, Tesco and nearby residents and neighbours.
