The proposed development is a large residential-led mixed use development comprising of a number of buildings of varying heights. Several of the buildings share a communal double height single story basement with the other buildings have full or partial basements.
Part of Henry’s scope was the main basement dig (18205m2), the install of the 700 linear metres of sheet piles, (492 sheet piles) install a dewatering system and excavate the 82,830m3+ of spoil out of the excavation.
This involved the development of a logistic plan dealing with over 150 Muck Away wagons per day. All the works were completed on time within the 37 week programme.
This is the first time we have worked with this client Northern Shell and to date has been proved to be hugely successful.
